Dark milk, dried mango and a chilli kick that sneaks up on you.
How it’s made
No shortcuts, no mystery fats. Just beans, patience and a very warm kitchen.
Step 1 of 4
We buy cacao straight from small cooperatives, pay well above market price, and taste every batch before it ships.
Step 2 of 4
Small-batch roasting wakes up the fruity, nutty notes. Our kitchen smells like brownies all day. Nobody complains.
Step 3 of 4
Ground nibs swirl in the conche for 72 hours until every gritty bit turns silky. Patience is our secret ingredient (along with cocoa butter).
Step 4 of 4
Tempered for that glossy snap, poured into moulds and tucked into a wrapper loud enough to see from across the shop.

Bought one Salty Business for the train. Arrived with an empty wrapper and no regrets.
The Dark Side 72% tastes like actual fruit. I didn't know chocolate could do that.
Hot Mango Mess is chaos in the best way. Docking one star because my kids found my stash.
I'm Belgian, so I'm hard to impress. Nut Job impressed me. Don't tell my grandmother.
Razzle Dazzle is pink, crunchy and slightly ridiculous. Exactly what my Tuesday needed.
Gorgeous wrappers, even better bars. Would happily eat the compostable paper too, but I'm told not to.

The Dark Side 72% is vegan. The others use organic milk, but an oat-milk range is in the test kitchen right now.
All bars are made in a kitchen that handles nuts, milk and soy. Each wrapper lists allergens in bold, so they’re hard to miss.
Somewhere cool and dry, between 15 and 18 °C, away from the fridge (it causes sugar bloom). Or just eat it. Problem solved.
From partner cooperatives in Peru, Ghana and Madagascar. We visit every year and publish what we pay per kilo.
Yes. Both the paper and the inner film break down in a home compost in about 12 weeks. The colours come from plant-based inks.
